Work has already started on delivering the contract for Icosa Water which is an independent water company operating across England and Wales.Operating under the New Appointment and Variation regime of the Ofwat Regulations, Icosa operates in areas such as West Raynham in Norfolk and Bexhill-on-Sea. Their licence was granted in October 2016, and their customers are mainly brand new developments.

The Icosa contract is being managed by newly promoted Water Solutions Supervisor, Morgan Carter with admin support from the Peterborough head office. Work will involve water regulations inspections of domestic and commercial properties within the clients license holding areas as well as inspecting properties where an abnormal water sample has been reported. Princeenergy will also review plumbing designs submitted by developers to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintain a database of plumbing and inspection records for all properties.

With the changes to the water market in April 2017, there have been many new entrants to the market such as Icosa and it is hoped that other opportunities will arise for Princeenergy in this sector.
