Within our industry health and safety is of principle importance, we work hard to ensure all of our staff, clients and the general public are in safe hands at all times.
We work just as hard to ensure we also take care of the environment within which we work and have been recognised for this by the Investors in the Environment.
Liam Brown heads up our health and safety department, he is highly qualified and experienced in his field and takes a hands on approach to the role. He regularly delivers training to our own staff, including IOSH Managing Safely courses, ensuring all of our employees are up to date on all of the latest health and safety procedures.
As a result we have a highly trained work force, many of whom hold their own health and safety qualifications. In addition we currently hold the Gold Accreditation for CSCS (construction skills certification scheme) attainment with over 92% of our employees being CSCS accredited.
Health and safety is promoted to our employees via scheduled Toolbox Talks which are delivered to ourengineers on a regular basis by the Company Health and Safety Manager or another senior manager depending on the topic being covered.
Before work starts on any site, safe working practices are put into place and any site specific health and safety issues are identified and addressed. For reactive maintenance works the engineer will complete a risk assessment upon arrival on site.
